Creamy Almond Pulp Hummus
Almond pulp makes a creamy, nutrient-rich base for almond hummus—a twist on traditional chickpea hummus, perfect for reducing waste after making almond milk and boosting fiber.
CREAMY ALMOND PULP HUMMUS
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh almond pulp (strained from homemade almond milk)
2 tbsp tahini
1–2 cloves garlic
Juice of 1/2 lemon
2tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/4 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp sea salt (adjust to taste)
Instructions:
Blend: Add all ingredients in a food processor or high-speed blender.
Serve: Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika, za’atar, or chopped herbs.
Serving Ideas:
As a dip with raw veggies or pita
Spread on toast or crackers
As a dressing base (thinned with lemon juice + water)
