Creamy Almond Pulp Hummus

Almond pulp makes a creamy, nutrient-rich base for almond hummus—a twist on traditional chickpea hummus, perfect for reducing waste after making almond milk and boosting fiber.

CREAMY ALMOND PULP HUMMUS

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh almond pulp (strained from homemade almond milk)

  • 2 tbsp tahini

  • 1–2 cloves garlic

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

  • 2tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin

  • 1/4 tsp sea salt (adjust to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Blend: Add all ingredients in a food processor or high-speed blender.

  2. Serve: Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika, za’atar, or chopped herbs.

Serving Ideas:

  • As a dip with raw veggies or pita

  • Spread on toast or crackers

  • As a dressing base (thinned with lemon juice + water)

  • With grilled Mediterranean-style veggies
